Exclusive Reefworld Stay Unveiled in Whitsundays

Cruise Whitsundays has unveiled its new Reefworld experience, exclusively catering to 36 overnight guests on the Great Barrier Reef. The $40 million investment has transformed the pontoon into a luxurious glamping-style retreat, complete with ocean-facing four-poster beds and stunning views of the reef. The 16 Reefbeds, featuring contemporary coastal design, come with fan, reading lights, and USB/C charging, while the two underwater Reefsuites accommodate four guests each. Guests enjoy guided snorkelling safaris, semi-submersible tours, and access to the pontoon's underwater observatory, as well as complimentary drinks and meals. The new experience is part of Journey Beyond's expansion plans, which include 22 brands and 33 new destinations by the end of 2027.
